VoIP Client ported to iPod Touch, and AT&T sack 12,000 staff
Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP as it’s more commonly known, is available on iPod Touch. VoIP provider Truphone has ported its VoIP client on to the handset developed by Apple, enabling the music and video player to make free phone calls over Wi-Fi networks.
