Phorm has board re-shuffle, as BT lands in the docks

ISP adware firm Phorm have been rocked today by the departure of four of its directors quitting, including recently appointed chairman Steven Heyer. Norman Lamont, the former Chancellor of the Exchequer has been named as one of the company’s replacements.

iPhone Advertisement Warning, Android Selling well

Apple’s latest iPhone advertisement has been ordered to be pulled from UK screens by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for giving the impression the phone could browse the web, download and install applications really fast – which everyone knows is not quite a 100 percent true every time.

Barack Obama privacy invaded, Verizon staff take the Bullet

The company suspended an unconfirmed amount of staff last week, for browsing the records, but it has emerged that the workers could only see call logs, times and the numbers that he called – they had no access to text messages or any of his voicemails.

Digital Television Adoption Spreading Fast in UK

Digital television is spreading across the UK much faster than in France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Japan and the US, according to communications regulator/watchdog, Ofcom.

Nokia cut Sales Predictions, as Carphone Warehouse contemplate Split
