iPhone Apps to Increase Productivity
You need not worry - just because you decided to get your hands on an iPhone instead of a Blackberry doesn’t mean you aren’t going to be able to stay business-like and up-to-date with your business dealings.
With the success of the AppStore comes a number of different apps available for download that will help you when it comes to staying productive for free on the move - the question is, which ones are the best? Read on to find out;
PageOnce Personal Assistant
If you want to stay on top of your bank details on the move then this app is what you’re looking for - PageOnce manages to collate all your online account details together in a nice tidy display to allow to flick through whenever you want.
You won’t be able to do anything other than read the information but if you want to know the goings-on of your bank account at 3 in the morning while you’re walking through the park then there is no better app for free.
PageOnce won’t stop with your bank account - it will also fill you in when it comes to your Twitter tweets, MySpace accounts, Diggs, Netflix queue, blah, blah…furthermore it will check your email as well and tell you how comfortable you are in your bundled mobile phone minutes and texts, etc…as if it were a real personal assistant!
Evernote
Never waste a small forest again with pointless memos - Evernote is a great app that lets you jot down anything from a simple note to a photograph or a voice memo and then send it up to a big online space which can be accessed anywhere anytime.
The free version of the app allows only an upload limit of 40MB a month, but if you find the service useful and you want to go crazy then get hold of an Evernote Premium service which lets you upload half a Terabyte.
ReQall
There are to-do lists everywhere you turn, but none manage to press the button quite like ReQall - imagine collecting all your to-do lists, shopping lists and voice memos and then get hold of them from anywhere you want - that’s what ReQall will do for you.
The funky aspect of this app is that it allows you to record voice memos and will then convert your voice to text - great if you can’t be bothered to move your thumbs.
YPMobile
YP in YPMobile stands for Yellow Pages - this app allows you to get your hands on the Yellow Pages directories so you can find any phone number you could need - you can take your copy of the local Yellow Pages out of your pocket now, you won’t need it!
This app is great if you like to make a lot of calls but you don’t want to search the Internet or call directory inquiries and waste the money - it does what it promises so you won’t be disappointed.
