YouPornTube
As YouTube says goodbye to music video streaming, the world has decided to hit back in the weirdest way possible - by uploading copious amounts of porn onto the online video network.
YouTube has been known to announce war on pornography in the past, allowing precious little sexual activity to feature anywhere on the site - murder they don’t mind, but sex…forget it!
The massive amounts of pornography have been uploaded as YouTube takes down music videos for legal reasons. However, YouTube users need not worry about losing music videos on YouTube, at least not the users who have iPhones.
The following is a list of some of the best iPhone apps available that allow the streaming of music onto your iPhone, surely the best app for any music lovers out there…
Simplify Media
This little app does something really quite special - there’s one thing streaming music files from the Internet, but it’s quite another thing streaming music from your very own iTunes/WinAmp music library from your very own computer no matter where you are.
If you want to connect to your home library, you will first have to install an application on your home computer in order to allow the iPhone to connect from wherever you are. Once this is done you are provided with an account and away you go.
You can use the app on either Windows, Mac or Linux and you’ll be set up in a matter of minutes.
Pandora
Pandora is a favourite amongst iPhone users as being one of the most trustworthy music discovery services available for the iPhone. You can set up your own radio station based on either songs or artists - it’s up to you.
You can then vote for songs and the app understands which music styles you like from your votes and then tries it’s hardest to deliver what it thinks you’ll like. This app is mainly perfect for the music lover that likes to discover new music!
Last.fm
Last.fm has made quite a name for itself over recent months for being one of the most enjoyable music streaming apps for the iPhone. It is similar to Pandora but also manages to incorporate a social networking side into it as well allowing you to connect with your mates with regards to your music and theirs.
The quality of the audio is great and better than Pandora but the price you pay for this is delays and drop-outs which isn’t great when you just want to listen to a track.
AOL Radio
This app is perfect if you want to stream a radio station however, as you might imagine, the selection is limited to stations that are owned by CBS including some of AOL’s specially chosen stations.
However, you probably won’t be disappointed with their selection and you’ll end up stumbling upon something that you will find will interest you and keep you bopping…give it a try and find out for yourself.
