If you are in a thought that an LCD monitor would burn a big hole in the pocket, here is something that will suit your budget and the needs definitely for sure. The Viewsonic’s newest release, VA1926w is the Value series member which promises a good performance at the affordable price. The truth that it is a 19-incher is making it more tempting.
The VA1926w is covered in the silver and black matte-finish body and it houses a WSXGA LCD anti-glare panel of 19-inches which supports the resolution of 1440×900 pixels maximum. Standing on the robust plastic base, its monitor is of 18-inches tall and has a thickness of just 2.4-inches. The base can be tilted up to 20 degrees for the viewing angle adjustment. And on the monitor, 2 buttons positioned on either sides of power button. The screen of the VA1926w has a response time of 5 ms and the contrast ratios recorded of 2000:1 (dynamic0 and 700:1 (static). The brightness is of 300 cd/m2 and the source of the light is rated to last long for about 50,000 hours. The screen is made to have a 160 degrees viewing angle vertically and horizontally. Unlike the most monitors of the value series (ready entry level) from the other brands, the Viewsonic’s VA1926w contains both, a D-sub (VGA) port and a DVI port for the input.
Bundle
Apart from this monitor, the following are the items that are included along with the bundle with this VA1926w LCD monitor:
Power Cord
1 VGA Cable
Printed Manual and Drivers Disc
One thing that is too bad is that the monitor does not come with the bundled DVI-D cable. It might a measure of keeping a cost down. If you’d ask me, that is not the smart way of doing this as this monitor operates noticeably much better on the DVI-D input.
