Getting power to an ideally placed access point may not be as easy as it sounds. Once you’ve chosen the prime spot you may find that power connections are farther than ideal.
But don’t stretch out that extension cable yet. If you can follow the instructions on a box of macaroni and cheese, you can get power-over-ethernet to your access point.
